Description of Artwork: My parents are a good match. They balance each other out. They may have their issues with each other, but overall, they love each other so much. My parent’s relationship has forced me to look at dating from a different lens than a lot of my friends. I want to find someone who finds me beautiful even when I have wrinkles and gray hair. I want someone who will look at me with awe and love when I get older. My dad looks at my mom like she is the most beautiful woman in the world. I don’t think that love will ever dim in them. They have set the bar high for what a relationship should look like. My parents have made it clear that love is a choice. They choose to continue to love each other even through the tough times and the fights. Although, they may get on each other’s nerves, they do love each other’s faults and weaknesses just as much as they love the good qualities. I won’t settle for anything less because I have such amazing role models teaching me what I deserve.
