Description of Artwork: It seems with all the different things going on in the world, society has many rules about how people should live their lives. We forget that we are all individuals and while some things might work for one person, the same thing might not be even a possibility for another. My dad is vegan and has reversed his heart disease by sticking to a plant-based diet. That works for him, but that doesn’t mean that it will work for everyone. Instead of trying to conform to the societal norms, try stepping into your individuality and embracing the differences of others. Whether it be eating habits, the way you dress, or unmasking and embracing your neurodiversity. I spent most of my life trying to fit into society when most societal norms took a lot of effort to achieve, and it made my life much harder. When my dad became vegan, it inspired me to stop trying to fit into the box of what is expected or socially appropriate and to start embracing my autistic traits that make me different.
